The Hunger Project (THP) India, a leading non-profit organization dedicated to empowering communities and ending hunger, is seeking a qualified and experienced Accountant to join their team in Haldwani, Uttarakhand. This is a unique opportunity for a dedicated professional to use their financial expertise to support a crucial mission and make a tangible impact on the lives of others.

The role requires a detail-oriented and self-reliant individual who can manage all financial and administrative operations for the Haldwani office. The ideal candidate will be a Commerce Graduate with at least 10 years of experience in accounting, and a mandatory proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel.

Key Responsibilities & Required Skills

The Accountant will be responsible for a wide range of duties, including:

• Independently handling all accounts and banking operations.

• Managing cash and ensuring proper cash flow.

• Overseeing office administration and logistics.

• Regularly traveling to the field to support operations on a monthly basis.

Candidates must be well-versed in Tally for accounting and have a strong understanding of FCRA (Foreign Contribution Regulation Act) compliance. Excellent written and spoken English is essential, as the role requires independent communication.
