Dhwani Foundation focuses on improving the efficacy of the social sector through Organizational Change Management (OCM), technology, and process improvements. Their work spans seven states—Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, Andhra Pradesh, Odisha, Jharkhand, Assam, and Manipur—reaching nearly 2,800 grassroots NGOs

The Role: Project Management & Creative Execution

As the Assistant Manager of Communications, you will be responsible for the day-to-end execution of communication strategies across Dhwani’s programs. This is a hands-on role that balances internal branding with the delivery of marketing collaterals for partner NGOs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Vendor Coordination: Serve as the primary point of contact for designers, printers, and video editors to ensure timely delivery of assets.

  • Quality Control (QC): Review design drafts and provide actionable feedback to maintain visual consistency and branding alignment.

  • Content Support: Create or coordinate social media creatives and assist in the development of learning materials, event collaterals, and reports.

  • Event & Video Management: Coordinate video requirements like testimonials and support the planning and budgeting of foundation events.

Qualifications & Skills

The ideal candidate is a highly organized professional with at least 6 years of experience in communications or branding roles.

Technical Requirements:

  • Project Management: Proven experience in communications execution and managing multiple deliverables.

  • Language Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.

  • Software Proficiency (Minimum 2 years each):

    • Adobe Illustrator and/or Corel Draw.

    • Adobe Photoshop.

    • Adobe Premiere Pro or DaVinci.

    • Canva.

    • Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.

Desirable Traits:

  • Familiarity with the social sector (previous employment or volunteering).

  • Understanding of Hindi, Kannada, and/or Tamil.

  • Experience with informal short video coordination and basic editing.
