The Role: Key Responsibilities and Impact

As the BFSI Trainer, you will be the bridge between potential and employment. Your core responsibility will be to deliver high-quality, interactive training that covers essential BFSI concepts and practical applications.

What You'll Be Doing:

• Training Delivery: Conduct engaging classroom and practical sessions on topics like Basics of Banking, Digital Banking (UPI), Financial Inclusion, Customer Service, Sales & Marketing, and Regulatory Compliance (KYC/AML).

• Employability Focus: Prepare candidates for entry-level roles such as Customer Service Executive, Relationship Officer, and Loan Executive, ensuring they meet critical industry standards.

• Quality Management: Develop comprehensive lesson plans, monitor trainee performance, conduct assessments and mock interviews, and maintain meticulous training records.

• Industry Connection: Mentor students on essential soft skills and workplace behavior, and support linkages with the placement team to understand evolving industry requirements.

This role requires a dedicated professional with a keen eye on the placement conversion rate and a commitment to achieving high trainee and employer satisfaction.

Who Should Apply?

Smile Foundation is looking for an experienced and passionate individual ready to make a difference.

• Experience: 2–6 years of experience in the BFSI sector (retail banking, insurance, microfinance preferred) or as a dedicated trainer. Prior experience with government or CSR skill development projects is a plus.

• Qualifications: A Graduate/Postgraduate degree in Commerce, Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field. Certifications like NISM or NCFM are a significant advantage.

• Skills: Strong command of BFSI concepts, excellent communication and facilitation skills, proficiency in digital banking tools, and the ability to motivate youth from diverse socio-economic backgrounds. Fluency in English and local language(s) is essential.
