About the Role: Supporting the Backbone of Urban Development

Migrant construction workers are vital to our cities, yet they often face significant barriers when trying to access social entitlements. As a Community Mobiliser, your primary mission will be to support these workers in navigating and accessing government welfare schemes.

Key Responsibilities Include:

• Awareness & Advocacy: Educating construction and migrant workers about available welfare schemes.

• Application Support: Assisting workers with the end-to-end process of filling and submitting applications for various government benefits.

• MahaBOCW Expertise: Helping workers access specific benefits under the Maharashtra Building and Other Construction Workers Welfare Board (MahaBOCW).

• Field Engagement: Conducting community meetings, field visits, and awareness campaigns to build trust and reach those in need.

• Data Management: Maintaining accurate documentation, beneficiary records, and performing data entry.

• Stakeholder Coordination: Liaising with local stakeholders and government departments to streamline service delivery.
