The Centre for Chronic Disease Control (CCDC), a leading not-for-profit research organization in New Delhi, is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Data Manager to join its dynamic team. The CCDC is a nationally and internationally recognized institution, designated as a Scientific and Industrial Research Organization (SIRO) by the Government of India. It proudly serves as a WHO Collaborating Centre and an ICMR Collaborating Centre of Excellence, placing it at the forefront of cardio-metabolic disease research.

The Role: Driving Data Integrity in Groundbreaking Studies

As the Data Manager, you will be the backbone of CCDC's research projects, ensuring that all data-driven activities are executed flawlessly. Your work will guarantee that the datasets generated are consistent, reliable, and of the highest quality.

Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Standardization & Documentation: You will help develop and maintain robust data management guidelines and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), creating a solid foundation for all research activities.

  • Database & CRF Management: Your expertise will be vital in supporting the design, programming, and implementation of databases for clinical studies. This includes reviewing Case Report Forms (CRFs) and database designs to ensure they align with study protocols.

  • Data Cleaning & Processing: You will contribute to data cleaning strategies and manage the entire data lifecycle—from developing the Data Management Plan (DMP) to data entry, validation, transfer, and final export.

  • Execution & Quality Assurance: You will independently manage all data-related tasks in compliance with regulations and SOPs, ensuring every deliverable is complete and consistent.

  • Collaboration & Teamwork: Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential as you will collaborate closely with study teams, providing technical support and guidance.

Who We're Looking For: Ideal Candidate Profile

We are looking for a candidate who is organized, technically proficient, and a proactive team player.

Essential Competencies:

  • A Bachelor’s degree (B.Sc./B.C.A) in Computer Science, Statistics, or Mathematics.

  • A minimum of one year of professional experience in data management.

  • Hands-on knowledge of REDCap, MS Access, Microsoft SQL Server, MySQL, or statistical software like Stata, R, or SAS.

  • An in-depth understanding of database structures and programming.

  • Excellent organizational, coordination, and interpersonal skills.

Desirable Skills:

  • A Master’s degree (M.Sc./M.C.A), PhD, or other advanced certification.

  • Experience working on multicentric research studies.

  • Strong problem-solving abilities and meticulous attention to detail.
