Qualifications and Experience
To be successful in this role, candidates should possess a strong academic background and relevant field experience:
Education: A Postgraduate degree in Management, Entrepreneurship, Economics, Rural Development, Social Work, or Development Studies.
Experience: 3-5 years of professional experience in a related field.
Core Responsibilities
The Deputy Manager will be responsible for navigating the complex intersection of policy, government relations, and rural development:
1. Policy and Coordination
Stakeholder Engagement: Coordinate with government, private, and civil society stakeholders for policy research and data collection.
Relationship Building: Lead collaborations with key departments such as the Uttar Pradesh State Rural Livelihood Mission (UPSRLM), the Directorate of Industries, the State Level Bankers' Committee (SLBC), and NABARD.
Resource Convergence: Identify and enable the alignment of projects with existing government schemes, infrastructure, and delivery mechanisms.
2. Knowledge Management
Innovation Sharing: Collect nationwide best practices to share with UPSRLM to facilitate cross-learning.
Monitoring & Reporting: Track shifts in the state’s financial and policy landscape and maintain impact reports for government offices and local partners.
MIS Support: Assist in building Management Information Systems (MIS) with multi-stakeholder participation.
