The Child in Need Institute (CINI) is currently seeking a dedicated and result-oriented professional to join their team as an Executive - Resource Mobilisation. This "Urgent Vacancy" is based at the CINI Fundraising Unit in Golpark, Kolkata, and offers a unique opportunity for individuals passionate about social impact and strategic growth.
Role Overview
This is a contractual position with an initial duration of one year. The role is designed for a high-energy professional capable of driving financial sustainability for the organization's developmental projects.
Remuneration: Rs. 20,000 per month (Cost to Organisation), which is negotiable for highly qualified candidates.
Incentives: Performance-based incentives are applicable.
Travel: Candidates must be willing to travel within West Bengal and to other states as required by project needs.
Key Responsibilities
The selected candidate will be responsible for spearheading fundraising efforts and managing donor relations. Major duties include:
Target Achievement: Developing and implementing business plans to reach fundraising targets that are at least three times the Cost to Company (CTC).
Donor Acquisition: Identifying and converting schools and individuals into long-term supporters.
Relationship Management: Building strong donor bonds through effective reporting, timely communication, and servicing.
Campaign Innovation: Designing and executing creative fundraising campaigns and engagement initiatives.
Operations & Reporting: Overseeing fundraising merchandise, ensuring the delivery of donor receipts, monitoring daily transactions, and submitting performance reports.
Eligibility Criteria
CINI is looking for candidates who meet the following requirements:
Age: Between 25 and 40 years.
Education: A Bachelor’s degree in Management, Social Sciences, Development Studies, or a related field is essential. Additional training in sales, marketing, or communication is preferred.
Experience: Proven experience in sales, marketing, partnership development, or donor engagement within the NGO/development sector.
Languages: Proficiency in English, Hindi, and Bengali is required.
Core Skills: Excellent written and spoken English is mandatory. Candidates should possess strong negotiation skills, be detail-oriented, and thrive under deadline-driven targets.
