Financial Data & Analytics 📊

A primary focus of the role is to enhance the IRC's analytical capabilities. The Financial Data Supervisor will:

• Design and manage financial dashboards, models, and reports using tools like Power BI and Excel to provide clear visibility into financial performance.

• Extract, clean, and analyze large datasets from systems like Microsoft Dynamics 365.

• Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs), conduct variance analysis, and identify data trends to support forecasting, grant planning, and strategic modeling.

• Translate complex financial information into clear, actionable recommendations for leadership and program managers.

Finance Operations ⚙️

Beyond analytics, the role is integral to the daily financial health of the organization. Key operational duties include:

• Supporting day-to-day finance tasks such as payment review, accounts payable, and accounts receivable.

• Ensuring all transactions are accurately coded and comply with IRC policies, GAAP, and donor regulations.

• Managing grant closeouts, financial reconciliations, and month-end closing procedures.

• Assisting with internal and external audits, the annual budgeting process, and maintaining robust internal controls to protect organizational assets.
