Humana People to People India (HPPI) is seeking a skilled and dedicated M&E cum Account Officer for a full-time position in Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh. This unique role, part of the Link Worker Scheme project, blends two critical functions: Monitoring & Evaluation (M&E) and financial management. The deadline for applications is August 31, 2025.

Key Responsibilities: A Dual-Function Role

The M&E cum Account Officer will be responsible for a wide range of tasks that span both data management and financial oversight. On the M&E front, the officer will handle the collection, analysis, and interpretation of program performance data. This includes preparing monthly reports, identifying performance gaps, and ensuring the timely submission of data to various agencies like SACS, TSU, and SETU. A key aspect of the role is data quality, which involves conducting continuous analysis, identifying potential problems, and performing field visits to ensure accurate data capture and to provide on-site support to the outreach team. The officer will also be expected to work with specific data capturing systems such as SIMS, MITRA, and SOCH.

For the accounts side of the role, the officer will be tasked with maintaining accurate financial records, ensuring all financial documents and norms are followed as per SACS guidelines, and managing the procurement process. A significant responsibility is the preparation and submission of Statements of Expenditure (SOEs) to the Project Manager (PM) and Project Director (PD). The officer will also be responsible for orienting staff on different financial transactions and reporting procedures.

Ideal Candidate Profile

HPPI is looking for a candidate with a strong educational background in Mathematics, Economics, Statistics, or Commerce. Applicants must have a minimum of two years of work experience, with a proven track record in both data management and financial record-keeping. Knowledge and experience in the health and social development sector are considered a significant advantage.

The ideal candidate will be proficient in computer data management and analysis using various software, including MS-Excel and PowerPoint. They should also be familiar with government health policies and programs. Strong communication skills, the ability to work effectively in a small team, and a flexible approach to work are essential.
