The Role: Monitoring & Evaluation (M&E) Manager

As the M&E Manager, you will report directly to the Head of CSR. This is a permanent, high-impact role that combines strategic office work with hands-on field experience.

Core Responsibilities

The M&E Manager isn't just a "numbers person"—they are the bridge between data and real-world improvement. Key duties include:

  • Strategic Oversight: Developing an M&E framework that aligns perfectly with FAME's organizational goals.

  • Data Leadership: Overseeing diverse data collection methods, from field visits and stakeholder interviews to digital surveys.

  • Reporting Excellence: Preparing comprehensive reports for internal teams, donors, and external partners to showcase program success and areas for growth.

  • Capacity Building: Training staff on M&E methodologies and fostering a culture of evidence-based decision-making.

  • Stakeholder Engagement: Working closely with beneficiaries and program teams to ensure the evaluation process is participatory and inclusive.

Who is the Ideal Candidate?

FAME is looking for a professional who understands the nuances of the development sector. The ideal candidate should possess:

  1. Educational Background: A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in M&E, Statistics, Social Sciences, or Development Studies.

  2. Proven Experience: A minimum of 6-8 years in the M&E field, ideally within the NGO, CSR, or development sectors (healthcare and education experience is also highly valued).

  3. Technical Skills: Strong analytical capabilities and expert data management skills.
