About the Role: M&E Officer

The M&E Officer will be the cornerstone of the project's data management and monitoring framework. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the integrity, accuracy, and timely flow of information, which is vital for the project's success and its accountability to stakeholders like the National AIDS Control Organisation (NACO) and the State AIDS Control Society (SACS).

Key Responsibilities:

• Data Management: Spearhead the collection, compilation, and meticulous maintenance of all project data, generating monthly, quarterly, and annual reports.

• Program Monitoring: Actively monitor project activities to ensure they align with the guidelines set forth by NACO/SACS.

• System Updation: Guarantee the timely entry and management of data into designated systems like SIMS/CMIS and other required reporting formats.

• Field Validation: Conduct regular field visits to verify data, check the quality of reports, and ensure the information collected is accurate and reliable.

• Team Coordination: Collaborate closely with Outreach Workers (ORWs), Peer Educators, and the Project Manager to streamline program monitoring and reporting.

• Analysis and Reporting: Prepare insightful analysis reports, compelling presentations, and detailed case studies to showcase project progress and impact.

• Documentation Support: Assist project staff in maintaining organized and proper documentation and record-keeping practices.

• Ethical Standards: Uphold the highest standards of confidentiality and ethics in handling sensitive beneficiary data.

Qualifications and Skills Required:

Asha Gramotthan Sansthan is looking for a candidate with a strong blend of academic qualifications and practical experience.

• Educational Background: A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Social Work, Statistics, Sociology, Public Health, or a related discipline is required.

• Experience: A minimum of 3 years of professional experience in Monitoring & Evaluation. Preference will be given to candidates with a background in HIV/AIDS Targeted Intervention projects or the public health sector.

• Technical Proficiency: Strong command of MS Office (especially Excel, Word, and PowerPoint), Tally, and data analysis tools. Prior experience with TI project reporting formats is a significant advantage.

• Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both Hindi and English are essential for documentation and team coordination.

• Work Ethic: The ability to work effectively, both independently and as a collaborative member of a team.

Salary and Remuneration

• Fixed Salary: A consolidated salary of ₹16,000 per month will be offered.

• Travel Allowance: An additional ₹600 per month will be provided to cover travel expenses.
