The Opportunity: Placement Officer – Bridging Skills and Industry
The selected Placement Officer will be the driving force behind the employment and career transition program. This role requires a strategic thinker with excellent relationship-building skills and a willingness to undertake extensive Pan-India travel.
Key Responsibilities You Will Own:
Market Leadership: Conduct comprehensive Pan-India market research to identify key companies and emerging employment sectors relevant to our beneficiaries' skills.
Industry Partnership: Build and nurture strong, lasting relationships with industry partners and potential employers nationwide to facilitate successful placements.
Program Execution: Plan, coordinate, and execute impactful placement drives, employer interaction events, and crucial preparatory sessions (e.g., mock interviews, resume-building workshops).
Career Counselling: Provide one-on-one career counselling and customized interview preparation, tailoring resumes to perfectly match current job market requirements.
Travel & Outreach: Undertake frequent and extensive travel across various Indian states to conduct site visits, attend job fairs, and engage directly with beneficiaries and industry stakeholders.
Data Management: Maintain rigorous and accurate records of beneficiary progress, placement data, and required reports.
Do You Meet the Minimum Requirements?
This demanding yet rewarding role requires a candidate who is ready to hit the ground running and make a real impact.
Education: Graduate in any field (a background in Social Work or Human Resources is preferred).
Experience: 1–3 years of proven, relevant experience in implementation, placement coordination, or a similar outreach role.
Skills: Demonstrated strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills. Proficiency in MS Office and effective documentation management is essential.
Willingness to Travel: Must be ready for extensive travel across various locations, locally and Pan-India.
