Making an Impact: The Role of a Program Officer
The Program Officer at CSA isn't just a desk job; it is a field-centric leadership role focused on the rehabilitation and holistic development of children within Child Care Institutions (CCIs).
As a catalyst for change, you will be responsible for implementing and monitoring essential programs across various domains, including:
Health, WASH (Water, Sanitation, and Hygiene), and Nutrition.
Education, Vocational Training, and Life Skills.
Aftercare and Recreation.
Key Responsibilities
A successful candidate will be the bridge between CSA’s vision and the children's daily reality. Your day-to-day will involve:
Field Leadership: Conducting weekly visits to CCIs to solve problems and review progress.
Compliance & Advocacy: Aligning CCI staff and trustees with JJ Act (Juvenile Justice Act) compliances.
Data & Budgeting: Managing quantitative and qualitative data alongside budget and vendor coordination.
Stakeholder Management: Building strong relationships with government bodies (CWC, DCPO), police, lawyers, and social workers.
Storytelling: Documenting success stories and case studies that highlight the program’s impact.
Candidate Profile: Who Should Apply?

Eligibility Criteria:
Education: Master’s Degree in Social Work (MSW).
Experience: 2–3 years in the social sector, with a preference for those who have worked in Child Protection.
Skills: Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and fluency in English and Hindi.
Mobility: Must own a two-wheeler and be willing to travel extensively within the field.
Attributes: Strong ownership, accountability, and the ability to adapt to diverse field conditions.
