Key Responsibilities of the Project Coordinator
The selected candidate will be at the forefront of Parmarth’s social development projects, ensuring that initiatives translate into real-world results. Primary duties include:
Project Leadership: Leading the planning and implementation of projects focused on Natural Resource Management (NRM), Climate-Resilient Agriculture, and Plantations.
Technical Support: Providing hands-on guidance to farmers, local institutions, and field teams.
Quality & Monitoring: Tracking field-level progress to ensure all activities meet high-quality standards and organizational goals.
Digital Reporting: Managing data accuracy and ensuring full compliance with project frameworks through digital reporting.
Community Building: Strengthening community institutions, including Community-Based Organizations (CBOs), Water User Groups (WUGs), and Farmer Groups.
Stakeholder Liaison: Coordinating with funding agencies, government departments, and technical experts to ensure smooth project flow.
Eligibility Criteria
Parmarth is looking for seasoned professionals who understand the nuances of the rural development sector.
Education: A Graduate or Postgraduate degree in Rural Development, Agriculture, NRM, Environment & Sustainability, Social Work, or allied development fields.
Experience: A minimum of 5 years of experience in the social or NGO sector.
Technical Skills: Basic proficiency in MS Office for reporting and documentation.
Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills in both Hindi and English.
