HCL Foundation is the corporate social responsibility (CSR) arm of HCLTech in India, functioning as a not-for-profit organization. The Samuday program, established in 2015, is a cornerstone of this mission. It aims to create a scalable and replicable model for rural development in partnership with local communities, state governments, and NGOs. By focusing on areas such as Agriculture, Education, Health, and WASH (Water, Sanitation & Hygiene), Samuday empowers communities to identify challenges and co-create solutions. Currently, the program is operational in 619 gram panchayats across Hardoi district in Uttar Pradesh and Thoothukudi district in Tamil Nadu.
The Role: Project Coordinator
The vacancy for Project Coordinator has been announced for locations in Hardoi/Noida, Uttar Pradesh, and Thoothukudi, Tamil Nadu. The selected candidate will work under the leadership of the Director, HCL Foundation, playing a crucial role in the planning, strategizing, and implementation of projects related to Education, Skill Development, Health, and the Environment within the Samuday program.
Key Responsibilities Include:
Assisting in the design and implementation of Monitoring & Evaluation (M&E) frameworks.
Supporting the collection, verification, and analysis of field data for accuracy.
Contributing to the development of data collection tools and methodologies.
Participating in field surveys and ensuring precise, timely data reporting.
Facilitating data entry, cleaning, and management of databases.
Preparing monthly and quarterly M&E reports and presentations.
Helping to identify performance trends, challenges, and learning opportunities.
Coordinating with external stakeholders for project assessments and reviews.
Candidate Profile: Qualifications and Experience
HCL Foundation is looking for candidates who meet the following criteria:
Minimum Requirements:
An MBA or a Master's degree in the field of Planning is required. Preferred colleges include the School of Planning-Delhi (M.Plan) and CEPT Ahmedabad (M.Plan).
Candidates should possess 4-6 years of relevant work experience.
Desired Qualifications:
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
Mandatory working knowledge of Hindi (for Hardoi) or Tamil (for Thoothukudi).
Proficiency with MS Office, QGIS & Mapping tools, and Power BI is desired.
A self-motivated team player who is passionate about social impact and sustainable development.
