Are you passionate about community development and environmental sustainability? Rudra Himalayan Jan Jagrit Samiti is seeking dedicated professionals to join their team in a groundbreaking project in Pithoragarh, Uttarakhand. This initiative, funded by DST-SEED, focuses on empowering the Raji-Tribes by integrating traditional knowledge with modern technological innovations. The project's goal is to promote, demonstrate, and digitalize the cultivation of medicinal plants, ensuring sustainable development for the community.

Available Positions

The project is recruiting for three temporary positions, with a project duration of 36 months. All roles are primarily field-based, involving direct community engagement in the Pithoragarh District.

1. Project Coordinator – II (1 Post)

This senior role is perfect for an experienced professional ready to lead a meaningful project.

  • Salary: ₹30,000 per month (consolidated)

  • Essential Qualifications: A Master's degree in Botany, Agriculture, Rural Technology, Environmental Science, or a related life science field.

  • Desirable Experience: 5 years of experience in project coordination, fieldwork, and community outreach.

  • Age Limit: 40 years

2. Laboratory / Technical / Project / Field Assistant (1 Post)

This position is ideal for someone with hands-on experience in scientific and field-based activities.

  • Salary: ₹20,000 per month + 10% HRA

  • Essential Qualifications: A Master's degree in Botany, Agriculture, or an allied life science.

  • Desirable Experience: 2 years of practical experience in laboratory work, medicinal plant cultivation, or general field activities.

  • Age Limit: 28 years

3. Scientific Administrative Assistant / Field Worker (1 Post)

A great opportunity for a detail-oriented individual to support the project's fieldwork and administrative needs.

  • Salary: ₹18,000 per month + 10% HRA

  • Essential Qualifications: A Graduate degree in any discipline.

  • Desirable Experience: Experience in data collection, conducting field surveys, community engagement, and basic administrative tasks.

  • Age Limit: 50 years
