As a Senior Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in documenting this progress and ensuring its impact is accurately measured and reported.

Your Role and Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for a variety of tasks that are vital to the organization's mission. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Documentation and Reporting: You will be the primary person responsible for creating detailed program reports—monthly, quarterly, half-yearly, and annually. This includes documenting compelling success stories from the community and drafting reports for donors.

  • Data Management: Managing the program database will be a core part of your role. You'll be in charge of regularly collecting, cleaning, and tracking program implementation data, as well as tracking the enrolment of adolescents and youth.

  • Content Creation: You will assist in creating documents for the production process, such as scripts, recordings, and editing, and contribute to the development of brochures and other communication materials.

  • Strategic Contribution: You'll participate in state strategy and program review meetings, providing valuable insights and contributing to the organization’s overall direction.

  • Field Engagement: This role requires you to travel frequently to communities, interacting with children, adolescent girls, and other stakeholders to understand the on-the-ground impact of the programs.

Who They Are Looking For

Breakthrough is seeking a dedicated and skilled individual with 2-5 years of relevant experience. The ideal candidate will have:

  • A Bachelor's or Master's degree.

  • Advanced proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel.

  • Experience working on gender issues.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both Hindi and English.

  • Strong interpersonal skills and a passion for working with people.

  • An in-depth understanding of Gender-Based Discrimination (GBD) and Gender-Based Violence (GBV), particularly sexual harassment.

  • The ability to design and facilitate workshops and training, especially for youth and women.

  • A strong understanding of communication strategy and the ability to manage logistics and databases.
