The Role: Senior Coordinator - Outreach

This pivotal role is the engine for Karya’s growth and community connections. The Senior Coordinator - Outreach will be responsible for fostering strong, sustainable relationships with communities, grassroots NGOs, and other vital stakeholders to ensure impactful community engagement.

Key Areas of Responsibility

1. Community Engagement & Impact

You will be the face of Karya in the community, focused on genuine engagement. This includes building and maintaining relationships with diverse communities and designing and implementing outreach programs that align with Karya’s core mission of economic empowerment. Success means ensuring active participation from the community in various initiatives.

2. Strategic Partnership Development

A core focus is identifying, initiating, and establishing robust partnerships. You will manage the entire partnership lifecycle, from initial pitching and negotiation to successful closure. A crucial element is maintaining an organized database to foster strong, long-term relationships with grassroots NGOs and organizations by understanding their needs and delivering collaborative value.

3. Communication & Coordination

You will develop clear and effective communication strategies for all outreach activities and serve as the primary point of contact for partners and stakeholders. Internal collaboration with other teams is essential to align outreach goals with broader organizational objectives and track progress through meticulous database management.

Who We're Looking For

This role is ideal for a strategic thinker with a proven track record in community-based programs and partnership building.

Must-Have Skills & Qualifications:

• Proven experience working effectively with community-based programs and grassroots NGOs.

• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to connect authentically with diverse audiences.

• Demonstrated ability to initiate and successfully close partnerships.

• Strong organizational, strategic, and database management skills.

• Prior experience in NGOs or community engagement initiatives is highly desirable.
